Dina Abdel-Fattah writes: Deadly interests… and riddles of the crisis!
In many cases, we as Egyptians are not able to justify the negative actions we do to our families and our countries, other than looking for interest and what is useful, with the mental logic that calculates it with paper and pencil, and the psychological ability to convince ourselves and others that it goes the right way, even if he kills himself!
The secrecy of this proposal revealed the current crisis that Egypt is going through as a result of the consequences of global tensions that directly affected the financial and investment capabilities of the Egyptian state, in terms of how a large group of Egyptians dealt with it, the logic of the “interest” we are talking about, and it reveals our answer to the questions Urgency is the morning and evening conversation in the Egyptian state, the most prominent of which is what is circulating that the state is suffering from a lack of currency, or especially dollars, and the inability to meet its internal and external obligations.
The answer is simply no, but the correct hadith is that the country is faced with a fierce war of foreign exchange speculation in the black market caused by gangs at home and abroad, and a wide segment of society is drawn behind the call to stockpile the dollar in homes as a popular commodity that makes big profits. in a short period, and the result is a problem in meeting the dollar demand for importers and producers from the main and approved sources, which are banks, despite the successful policy of the Central Bank in this direction, the adoption of flexible mechanisms for the exchange rate to control the black market and the supply of containers savings suitable for all groups.
The result of this equation is that there are many opponents before the interests of the state, which is necessarily the interest of the citizens, because there is no benefit from this practice except for the citizen himself to face the problems of rising prices and lack of medicines. , lack of production requirements needed to move industry and trade, and crises here and there affecting sectors like poultry, animal feed, automobiles, the list goes on.
Despite all these practices that are not justified by the logic of economics and religious law, the state is still, without exaggeration, moving towards creating a strong experience of ascent, and is still steadfast in facing these crises with flexible policies and practices that mainly depend on the strength of the government and strong foreign relations, which are pushed through direct meetings between presidents and leaders of countries to create an economic movement on the ground to confront these mudslingers who are relentlessly pushing the war machine owned by the great powers and negative practices from within, which will only lead to to an unknown future and identity.
Even we, and in spite of this and what we suffer in order to stand on firm feet in the face of these crises exported from abroad, a wide segment of society also adopts a deadly practice no less than the previous ones, which is contempt for everything done, underestimating the great things and making fun of our conditions on social media platforms. And within the circles of intellectuals and the elite, to export words like flying graves, to be received by segments of society “everyone according to their own wisdom and understanding”, to translate them into improper actions and ideas that encourage distrust in what is happening and what may happen in the future.Society, with colloquial messages of which I can give some examples, such as “pour in interest”, “the country is full of bridges”, “and the pound was riding a roller coaster”.
On the other hand, the practices of “intimidating and exaggerating” things also stand, and they are no less harmful than their predecessors, because we are addressing the minds and generations that have gone through many years of experience since 2011. access to knowledge from the technological revolution that hides nothing, just like what about “Stomachs” and here I don’t mean the literal meaning, but the description of the needs and requirements that a citizen needs to eat and drink. , and to satisfy other innate desires with which God created people.
And the media has a major role in this, to put things in the right place, and speak in the language of numbers and logic that people understand, not aspirations and dreams, nor misery and misery. Explain it to him transparently and clearly, and accurately inform him about the reality of the situation.
There is no evidence of the failure of those who deal with the collective consciousness of the Egyptian state, the vast amount of rumors and claims filling the corners of the world, which was refuted by the latest report of the Council of Ministers published this month. to respond to these accusations, in a language that I consider entirely correct, because it relies on accurate foundations and data, and also carries with it great confidence in overcoming the crisis with a strategy that relies on flexible economic and financial practices, to cope with the global conditions of which are the crisis arcs open so far.
The second saying refers to collective and individual monopolistic practices, because monopolistic practices of merchants and “killing others” stakeholders recognize only their personal interests and bank balances, regardless of the harm they cause, and monopoly is no longer focused on specific commodities such as rice and wheat. Rather skip it for coins and gold.
It can also be said that broad segments of society can fall into the trap of monopolizing and causing market turmoil, clamoring for goods, hoarding them, making agreements to sometimes speculate on their prices and carrying out negative practices with unjustified consumption that lead to nothing.
On the other hand, we must be aware that the Government with its competent agencies, which are also run by citizens, can cause many problems for some of them in their leadership positions, especially in the governorates, due to negative practices related to bureaucracy and bureaucracy. There is no doubt that we are facing global crisis with fatal repercussions, which requires In order to attract investments, non-standard reliefs and incentives should be implemented that take into account the dimensions of this crisis and its impact on global investments in general, as long as the reported project complies with the necessary regulations and requirements.
Here we do not have the luxury of delaying or obstructing a project that provides employment opportunities and hard currency, since in these difficult circumstances “tomorrow is not in sight.” The government is working, according to the Prime Minister, to try to dismantle these practices through direct relations with investors, but it seems that one of the main problems is present in the late ranks of employees, and the result is the disruption of investments, and giving opportunities to other markets that face the same problems as and we in attracting global investments to our account.
Here, work needs to be done on training employees in the state administrative apparatus to follow regulatory laws without delay and arbitrariness, in order to make it easier for domestic and foreign investors, and not stand in front of jobs that can generate income projects that can be started.
Just as the recent global changes have played a role in the emergence of many challenges and problems that the Egyptian state has to face, it has become and still is a positive opportunity to change the rules of global trade. The task he undertook during the last period towards improving the business climate and ensuring an incubation environment for investments, with the need to work to support the Egyptian initiative “Ibda” for the localization of local industry, which needs to intensify the efforts necessary for its success in order to create more industrial entities able to meet the needs of the Egyptian market and also compete. On different world markets, realize the dream of the Egyptian state to reach the export value of 100 billion dollars during the coming period.
Perhaps the global conference to promote the investment opportunities available in the Egyptian market, recently announced by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouu, will serve as a major tipping point in translating the success the country has achieved at the economic level in attracting more foreign direct investment to the market, in order to took advantage of the impressive picture it painted. The Egyptian state itself during the recent climate summit, where the state clearly stated that the new Egypt is a strong state capable of withstanding various crises and being the main center of transformation towards the future.
In the middle of all these negative practices that I am citing and into which anyone in society can fall, intentionally or not, the role of the state during these circumstances, in meeting the needs of the poor classes, who only care about their ability to adapt to this global crisis that has caused the rise high food and energy prices, and that the state wants to control the markets with strict measures to stop the weak minded monopolists and exploiters who are robbing the Egyptian people and destroying their economy.
In the end, we must all control our relations with the state and see that the strength is in the community, and not to exhaust ourselves so as not to lose wealth in these difficult global circumstances and to ask ourselves if we are in one boat that we must preserve in order to reach safety? Or are we kings chasing other people’s boats?!
