● “Money”: What is the activity of the company “M3 Tech”?

Belay: We started the procedures to establish a technology solutions company “M3 Tech” in Egypt, I have 33 years of experience in the field in the United States of America, and I studied computer science and information technology.

We founded two companies in the USA in 1997 in the technology consulting sector, in addition to working in India, and in 2002 we started the activity of technological solutions in the Emirates in the field of health care and health insurance.

● “Money”: Why did you decide to work in Egypt?

Belay: There are several attractive factors and growth opportunities in Egypt in the insurance and health technology industry, such as the availability of a large population that exceeds 100 million people, as well as the need of the health sector for these services, the most important of which is digitization, with the presence of a local partner which helped us to get to know the local market and customer culture.

Our goal is to automate the health care and medical insurance sector in Egypt by providing technological solutions, building platforms, providing business solutions for companies and establishing an online store in this industry.

● “Money”: What benefits do citizens, doctors and the state get from technological services in healthcare?

Belay: The Egyptian market needs to automate the medical data of patients through electronic records with codes, which helps the patient to present this information to doctors, without the need for repeat examinations, and to reduce the volume of consumption and cost of services and improve their quality.

This is followed in the health systems of developed countries by using a “mobile application” to record and save data about patients, their health status, and the examinations and analyzes they have previously performed.

This technology helps the doctor to correctly diagnose the client’s condition, based on his medical history, which helps him to prescribe the appropriate treatment for him.

The country benefits from this automation through the availability of a patient database, which helps to identify endemic diseases, the causes of their spread, how to counter them, identify age groups that need campaigns, vaccines or drugs against them and other factors that affect yes.

● “Money”: What is the purpose of the contract between you and Nile Valley Healthcare Company?

Belay: There is a collaboration between our company and “Nile Valley Healthcare” aimed at automating operations and using an electronic platform and “mobile application” for the benefit of other clients.

The electronic services of the mobile application have become available to all clients and subscribers of Nile Valley Healthcare Company, and the transformation and integration with the new technological system will take place gradually in the coming period.

Insurance and healthcare companies also benefit from these services through the automation of internal work roles such as recording claims, finalizing medical approvals and turning them into invoices in an automated way and using artificial intelligence, which reduces time and effort by 40-50%, as well as reduction of work and costs resulting in better prices and lower costs. The installment is borne by the customer, as well as a reduction in cases of fraud and fraud when using the service.

The company provides technology services to healthcare providers such as hospitals, analysis laboratories and radiology centers, through the integration of its technology systems and the ability to use a “mobile application” for booking in medical centers, registering patient services and converting them into codes, and then into invoices, which reduces time and effort.

● “Money”: Does the company engage in the activity of insurance technology in all its branches or is it specialized only in “medicine”?

Belay: The company is engaged in the activity of insurance technology in the field of health care and medical insurance, since we cooperate with service providers as well as insurance companies in the automation of services and their electronic acquisition.

Modern technology contributes to the digitalization of health services for doctors, hospitals and others, turning the work cycle into a technological one, which leads to automated issuing of bills, with compatibility with the electronic system of the mobile application used by the user. .

The technology system helps to connect insurance companies, “health”, service providers and users through a “mobile application”, to achieve integration and exchange of data, ease of access and benefit from it, and then quickly get the service at a lower cost and more efficiency as user satisfaction would be achieved.

● “Money”: Are there negotiations with insurance or other healthcare companies to cooperate?

Pillay: There are talks with healthcare companies and others in the insurance business. The company can help its clients convert medical services into codes and specify the requirements for each of them and a series of steps to obtain them, such as linking a doctor’s examination to a doctor’s prescription electronically, as well as tests, x-rays, reports, bills and more.

● “Money”: How does digitalization contribute to the elimination of fraud and fraud in health insurance?

Belay: Digitization contributes to the reduction of health insurance fraud and fraud and prevents duplication of the patient’s procedure for the same examination by providing the results of any X-ray or analysis at the user’s expense in a “mobile application”, which reduces costs.

This helps improve the technical results of the health insurance branch, reduce its costs, improve prices and obtain a reduced premium for the customer, after rationalizing the use of the service and eliminating cases of fraud and fraud in benefits.

● “Money”: Does the subscriber have a smart card or is the account on the “Mobile Application” sufficient for him?

Belay: The subscriber does not have to carry a smart card to receive medical services, but it is enough to use the “mobile application” and show his account on it, for example to the hospital staff. If the patient’s condition does not allow him to use the mobile phone himself, he can seek the help of one of his relatives to open the application and show it to the reception staff.

● “Money”: Is there a service that answers the queries of the application’s users?
